5 Family Friendly Restaurants in the North West

The last couple of years have been a pretty rough time for most of us, and that was particularly true of last Christmas. The Covid-19 pandemic meant that we didn’t get to spend the quality time we would usually get with our loved ones over the festive period. As a family, we love to get together with our parents and Grandparents at Christmas, and as we missed out on so much last year, we are determined to make this festive season even more special than ever. We like the idea of eating out together, as there are quite a few of us it can be difficult to all sit down together for a meal in one of our homes. With that in mind, I’ve been looking into the best family friendly restaurants in the North West for this winter.

When it comes to looking for a family friendly restaurant, a great place to meet friends for a coffee, or even perfect party venues for your work’s Christmas do, it’s always worth doing your research. You can find out so much about these places online by reading reviews or checking out their social media pages to see what they have to offer and to get an idea of prices too. When you’re eating out as a large group, price is pretty important!

I’ve found these five family friendly restaurants in the North West that we’ll be trying out as soon as we get the chance.

1. Ciaooo Pizzeria

Pizza

When it comes to eating out, pizza is always a huge hit in our family. Ciaooo Pizzeria is in the heart of Manchester making it easily accessible from most areas of the North West. They’re child-friendly, with a cosy yet fun atmosphere, making it a great option for kids. They also have some really tasty vegetarian options, so it’s great for those who prefer a vegetarian diet.

2. 20 Stories

For those families who love to try something truly unique, 20 Stories offers a real taste of glamour as it sits on the rooftop of No.1 Spinningfields. Don’t let the glitzy location fool you though, 20 Stories is 100% child-friendly and it’s particularly good for tweens and teens who will really enjoy the adult-like environment.

3. Pho Manchester

Pronounced “fuh”, this Vietnamese restaurant is perfect for families who love a taste of the exotic. They now have restaurants all over the country, including one situated in the Corn Exchange, Manchester. They offer delicious food cooked from scratch on-site, including their signature pho dish. For families with older teens and young adults, they also offer a student discount too – really handy for those watching the pennies.

4. Bem Brasil Liverpool

If Liverpool is more up your street, then check out Bem Brasil for a delicious meal for all the family. Children and adults of all ages are welcome here, and the whole family will enjoy having their meat sliced right on the table and helping themselves to the buffet. It’s a great meal and experience that’s perfect for a family get together this Christmas.

5. Bella Italia

You really can’t go wrong with Bella Italia, and our kids always love visiting this restaurant whenever we’re spending some quality family time together. Their main dishes are pizza and pasta based making them the perfect choice for children of pretty much any age (show me a kid who doesn’t love pizza).

Pasta

The North West is really spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants to suit all the family, but if you’re feeling spoilt for choice, then hopefully one of these five family friendly choices will fit the bill for your next family get together.
